Ontbirders, There was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Ottawa Beach off of Scrivens at 4pm onwards.  Present to at least 4.30pm.  On the rocky shoals.  Note: the light was very poor at 4pm! Directions: Park at either Scrivens off Carling Avenue or Lakeside Gardens, Britannia Beach.   Richard

[Ontbirds] Parasitic Jaeger still on the Ottawa River, Shirley's Bay, Ottawa @ 1.30pm

The Parasitic Jaeger was still present at Shirley's Bay Ottawa at 1.30pm.  The bird was drifting on the wind close to Innis Point, then it would fly briefly to mid-river opposite the boat launch and repeat the process again. A good scope is highly recommended! Richard Waters Audere est
