There was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Ottawa Beach off of Scrivens at 4pm
onwards. Present to at least 4.30pm. On the rocky shoals.
Note: the light was very poor at 4pm!
Directions:
Park at either Scrivens off Carling Avenue or Lakeside Gardens, Britannia Beach.

A flock of 20 White-winged Crossbills flew low and North over Nanaimo Park at
2pm, towards the Bayshore Mall area.

plumage bird.
Note: there were at least three Common Terns fishing mainly in deeper water
towards the middle of the Ottawa River /Quebec side!

Ottawa Beach is best accessed from Carling Avenue just to the east of Andrew
Haydon Park-Ottawa.

The Parasitic Jaeger was still present at Shirley's Bay Ottawa at 1.30pm. The
bird was drifting on the wind close to Innis Point, then it would fly
briefly to mid-river opposite the boat launch and repeat the process again. A
good scope is highly recommended!
