Mi amigo, Victor M Serrano has just turned up another Black-bellied
Whistling Duck which is likely the same bird Dean Ware found a few days ago
but had since went missing.
The bird is showing now at the Leamington Marina (where the boats are
docked, not the beach side) which is at the south end of
Nancy McPherson just reported to the Pelee Whatsapp group that the
Whistling Ducks are back at same spot at Muddy Creek, Wheatley.
First report all day.

Around 9:50am several of us were standing at the extreme tip and Paul Pratt
first called out the bird as it was flying low just above the trees as we
were looking north. We didn't see it long enough to tell the age of the
bird. It was also seen by Alan Wormington, et al.
Lindsey Vallient, Graham S
Josh Vandermeulen, Lindsey Valliant, Alison Maxwell and I have the Eared
Grebe now about 500 meters south of Shuster's Trail swimming north about 50
meters from shore.

This rather elusive Worm-eating Warbler is showing well now from the
boardwalk in Tilden's, it's in the wet spot to the east of the water area
as you're looking north about 10 meters, its been moving around on the
ground.

I just came across the adult male Audubon's Warbler about 50 meters south
of the solar panel along the west beach foot path at the tip of Pelee, it

at Seacliff (Leamington Beach) and they're watching it now.

I just got a call from Adam Pinch that he's refound the female Mottled Duck
in the Hillman Marsh shorebird cell.
Hillman Marsh shorebird cell is north of Point Pelee and east of Leamington

The female Kirtland's Warbler is being seen quite reliably along the road
approximately half way between the two 50klm signs that are between the
half way train stop and the tip. The bird is on the west side of the road
feeding near the top of some Cedar Trees.

I just heard from Marcie Jacklin that the adult Pacific Loon is now with an
adult Red-throated and a Common Loon now being seen at North West Beach.
Also to clarify the immature Pacific was a Common Loon, Adam had distant
bino views and others got on it with a scope after.

standing at Pelee Wings it flew over head and went NE possibly towards
Leamington Harbour.

A quick update on the immature white ibis Kory posted earlier is that it's
still being seen well from the same location and looks quite content while
feeding. This bird is also in the Pelee birding area and is Pelee's second
record ever!

Jeremy Bensette, Lindsey and Michelle Valliant and I are currently watching
a Eurasian Collard-Dove at the Gore Hill public school which is east of
Leamington on Seacliff drive east.
The bird has been near the baseball diamond and on the telephone wires
along Seacliff Drive.

the tip at point pelee and so far we have not re-found the Bicknell's

It's been a birdy day at Pelee today! Josh Vandermeulen and I are now
watching a beautiful Bohemian Waxwing on the footpath that runs south of
the Delaurier parking lot adjacent to the old administration
building field, so roughly half between the chinquapin trail and the
delaurier parkinlot. Its

sitting on the east center of the sand island just off the tip of point
pelee.
The bird is resting but may be sick as its doesnt look particularly alert.

The bird had flown North from concession D towards concession C, landing in
an isolated woodlot between concessions. Two birders attempted to re-find
the bird first asking permission to walk the lane way to where we believed
the bird had flown. Without knowing another house was located exactly wh
rrily
missed in December 2004!

At 8:30am, myself and Julie Liptak saw and heard 2 Fish Crow's flying south
directly above the main vehicle road directly opposite Sparrow Field. The
birds called 5 or 6 times consecutively and returned 5 minutes later heading
NNE, calling all the while.

I just received an update on the pair of Swainson's Hawks in the Onion
Fields from Jim Lessor and Robert Epstein from Michigan. The birds we still
in the same laneway happily catching Grasshoppers and providing fantastic
views for all.
