As a point of clarification, the Godwit at Exeter is a HUDSONIAN. In my
original post to Ontbirds I stated that it was a PROBABLE Marbled. It turned
out to be Hudsonian! Please excuse the confusion and verify/correct any ebird
posts made as a Marbled.Thanks.

Folks. There is a Dowitcher species at the Exeter Lagoons in the East most
cell. The water is drawn down and there is excellant habitat. I am identifying
it as a 'possible' Short Billed. It is definitely a dowitcher.Exeter is north
of London. On. And the lagoons are off Airport Line south of 8
At noon today there was a Ross's Goose at the Exeter Lagoons with upwards of
700 Tundra Swans. Ross's was on north berm of western most cell.Keep in mind
the lagoons are only accessible weekends while construction continues.The
lagoons are accessible off Airport Line 600 meters south of Hwy 83.A
As of 12:30pm the Common Teal continues with a vast group of Green Winged Teal
at Hillman shorebird cell. East of Leamington.

Folks: On my trip to the lagoons this morning, I was informed by town employees
that as early as tomorrow, the lagoon site will be CLOSED and posted as a
construction site. No one will be allowed entrance and if caught on site will
be considered trespassing. The site will not reopen for birding

The (beginning to moult) Eared Grebe continues at Exeter Lagoons in Huron
County. As well, there is a dowitcher species of which I have rather poor
pictures of. There are very few shorebirds but we do have all the Cormorants
you could possibly want.Lagoons are a concession west of Exeter

Grebe and Ruddy Turnstone continue at Exeter Lagoons.The number of shorebirds
has dwindled to where you can count them all on two hands. No shoe or sock
