the migration of Sandhill Cranes to their traditional area in Navan has
begun this past week, count of 16 at noon today with number expected to
increase.
They are in the fresh cut corn fields east of Trim and North of McFadden.
>From HWY 174 , take Trim road exit South 12.5 km (almost to
oad south bound to almost the end (app 12 km) where
you will meet McFadden Road

The Red-throated Loon being reported was present today
at 12:30 on the Ottawa River off Britannia Point by the Britannia
filtration. It was feeding near the midpoint between the rapids and the
Champlain bridge. (also present was a hunting Osprey)
