Today I left Mississauga bright and early to try for the Boreal Owl reported yesterday by Bruce Ripley at Amherst Island. Unfortunately, despite much searching by a number of birders, the Boreal was not found. If the Owl is relocated I hope it is reported as I would have no hesitation in trying
