This morning I had a Black-billed Cuckoo just to the left of the entrance of
the Bill Mason Centre.
eBird shows no reports of the species at all in this location, so I thought it
was interesting to report. Lifer for me too, woo!
Other species were Rose-breasted Grosbeak, a very friendly Wilson'
my husband and I saw and photographed a black-billed Cuckoo on
Marchhurst, near Thomas Dolan Parkway yesterday(June 7 ) afternoon.
we also saw common Yellow throat, Yellow warblers, Orioles, a Brown
Thrasher, a Bluebird, 2 Eastern Kingbirds and several Cedar Waxwings along
Marchurst

We were very pleasantly surprised to have a Black Billed Cuckoo spend over an
hour in my backyard yesterday afternoon. It spent most of the time near the
top of our hundred plus year old Black Walnuts and Maples along the edge of the
property. He must of thought we were nuts because he spent

Directions: Take entrance at north side and take the trail up the left
side about 100 meters and it was found to the right in an area where not
alot of trails are found but it is passable.

I watched a black billed cuckoo in the Ozark park swamp this morning for
about 20 minutes the bird tried to be very stealthy but I was more
stealthy than he was all that military training from years ago paid off.
Anyway Ozark Park is located in Oak Ridges Ontariobehind
Along the trail off of Bowesville Road in Gloucester, I heard a BLACK-BILLED
CUCKOO calling from a small grove of trees on the left. Unfortunately I
couldn't locate it visually, which is typical with cuckoos, but it called for
several minutes continuously.

The interior of Thickson's Woods remains, as it has for several days, very
quiet--very few numbers of warblers. A BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO was noted in the
middle around 0930.
The following birds were seen and heard in 2 locales--along the car-park
roadside, and in the vicinity of the bird-feeder a
