It's doubtful that Blackbox will ever include a taskbar like the one you
describe and for good reason. However, if you really need one and you
have KDE and/or Gnome installed you can always launch their respective

Hi,
Firstly, I would like to thank you very much for continuing the development
of what I believe to be the best window manger overall.
I have been using blackbox since its early versions, and I've persuaded many
friends and co-workers to give it a try.
I'm not sure how, but my email address or one from my domain seems to have
gotten on this list. Will someone please remove me? There should not be anyone
on this list from secretagents.com or fusebox.org
thank you

Some of you have reported problems in the past compiling blackbox due to
deficiencies with the Sun X headers. I have wrapped all C headers includes
with 'extern C {}'. Let me know if you still need -fpermissive to compile
blackbox please.
If it's the best for you, then why the It's great but I need all these features
that others do?
If you *really* need that, then why not look for applications to do that job?
ROX-Filer can put icons on the desktop and a taskbar on an edge of the screen
with more icons/applications.

Hi,
Anyone know how to get bb / bbconf / bbkeys to recognize the flying windows key?
I'm running out of places to bind keys, and getting my win key going would help a
ton... ;-)

On my pc, it's known as META. I found that out using bbconf.
Also, the contextual menu key is MENU in X. But, maybe
