Hi,
The conversation about the memory consumption of xterm has got my
attention.
I have an i486DX at home with 8 MB RAM and a Debian Potato. I've tried
to make things as small and minimal as possible, but maybe I do not know
all the possible alternatives.
Would you please help me with some
Hi,
I use Sloppy Focus and I have some buggy features also. For example if
the focus is on app A on workspace 1 and I switch to workspace 2, where
there is no window, app A on ws 1 still has the focus. I think the
desirable behaviour would be, that there is no window focused at all.
Nevertheless

Hi,
Fluxbox is only a clone yet. A promising clone, but not far ahead of

Hi Markus,
BTW: It should not be hard to write a patch for that option
If you are a c++ programmer then that should be true. But I know only
such things like pascal, perl,... :)
Anyway, I will take a look on that. Maybe modifying an existing c++
program is not like rocket science... But I'm not

Hi,
Maybe I am doing something wrong but it seems that the -c[onfig]
parameter is not working.
I use bbkeys v0.3.6, and placed bbkeys -i -c
/home/users/szekszardi/.blackbox/bbkeysrc into my .xinitrc (BTW if I
just issue a bbkeys -c /home/users/szekszardi/.blackbox/bbkeysrc at the

Hi Jan,
I have a very good advise for you about the blackbox configuration
files. If you read all the manpages of blackbox and all the blackbox
tools you wish to use (if no manpage for a certain bbtol, read the
README comes with the source, etc.). If you read them all, then you will
know how to

Dear Pato,
can someone explain me step by step how can i add icons in my blackbox
desktop please?
Well, you can do it if you follow these easy steps:
1. Take a paper, and some pens. If you want to have a 16 color icon,
then 16.
Note: You can dramaticaly increase the quality of the icons, if

Hi Patrick,
Two things about the subject:
- if you use aterm, you can set the terminal window transparent
- with bblaunch you can start a program without window decorations

Hi,
Sorry, I asked this question once, but I have not got any solutions yet.
How to set up blackbox to unfocus the window, if I move the mouse
pointer to an area of pure, nude, empty desktop?

Hi,
Is there any way to make a window omnipresent? Eg. present on all
workspaces, like in Window Maker.
2nd question: if a window has no frame (like xmms), how can I bring on
the window menu?
3rd: in xmms i can set always on top, and it work with windowmaker but
does not work with blackbox. Any
