Hi list,
I had downloaded AVG a week or so ago, but were not able to get it to work
right. I therefore uninstalled it, and then reinstalled it again. I downloaded
it from the Jaws Users site. In the dialogue box, I chose to have it save to my
desktop. I chose the desktop, as when I downloaded

Hi Tony,
I wrote to the list owner, and I'm not sure what he did, but I'm now able to
post to that group. Thanks for your help though. It's much appreciated!
Take care,

Hi Lisa. The list owner probably adjusted the list settings to allow posts
in HTML format. I'm glad to help any time I can. Maybe you can save the
instructions in case that happens to you again on some other list or if you
otherwise need to send plaint text emails. Enjoy.

There is no such thing as a *dumb* question on this list and long may that
continue. This is a great strength of this list.
Most printers default to colour printing but you can check this by tabbing
to the printer properties page on the printer dialogue box in Word. The

Thanks that was helpful. My black ink is out and I need to print up some
excel sheets and was wondering if I could use the color since it's still
full.
So if I still use white paper and color printed text what would you
reccomment as the best visible color for this job?

I'm placing the finishing touches on a tutorial for outlook 2000. It covers
importing email settings from another computer, creating a folder, and a
message rule. Next I'm going to take a shot at doing such a thing for

you need to select your choice of color in your word processor and than have

It was supposed to read a color capable printer, which you have from seeing
your emails. I use ms 2000 and if I were to change color I would go to
format select font and among your choices is color. it first wants the type
of fonts then size and you than can change color.

It is my understanding that JAWS' ability to read changes in font color with
a different voice has been improved in Version 9. Hopefully others on this
list can provide more insight on this topic.

Its possible that you have a corrupted print job in your printer queue.
You could try going to start, settings, printers and faxes. Navigate to

Something to bear in mind is that I am told that with ink jet printers and
some cheaper thinner paper double sided or duplex printing may be

other, giving a messy result with some printers when printing duplex output
