Hi Kate;
one thing you can do is;
when that dialog box comes up, to allow or not to allow,
if jaws looses focus, just go desktop, start+m, now, tab over to the
taskbar, and alt+tab, hopefully you will land on the dialog box.
the other thing is, if you have jaws running on your taskbar, it
There is also an audio tutorial on the server which is the first such thing
I ever did that will walk you through the entire process.

You can create a rule , under tools , the rule will check all the incoming
emails as soon as the message is received then direct it to whatever you
want .
It has a lot of options .
FYI you can apply it also on the old emails in the inbox it will archive
them for you
Good luck

Hi Stuart, there's the free Audacity. There's also the commercially
available Adobe Audition, which has been taken over from Cool Edit Pro.

Please, upgrade to IE7. Is it the version of your screen reader that's
preventing you from doing so, or are you just not one of those people who
likes to try things and understand the consequences of doing such.

Sometimes, office environments do not permit us to upgrade. At my
office, we are forced to use IE 6, and there is nothing I can do about
it. This reflects neither cheapness, laziness, nor fear on my part.

At home I use my own equipment, too, all paid-for out-of-pocket. But in
an office environment you work with what you're allowed to work with.

If you are going to get a new laptop,ask them if they will put XP instead of
Vista.
You'll have to get jaws 9 or 10 if you go with Vista.
Between vista XP they are the operating systems,you can only have one on
your computer.
Just to clarify things for you.

In the days I used IE, I just used 6 because it was supported better with
Jaws. At the time, IE7 support with Jaws 9 sucked (and it still does) so
that's why I just said goodbye to IE and used Firefox instead, which I like
much more, and I don't even compare it to IE. You problem, however, is
