Hi David Griffith,
I wish I could have access to a fine machine like you made reference too.
The one with the camera... Right now I am tearing the pages out of the book and
scanning them. The scanner I have actually is supposed to be a duplex scanner.
It is the HP 5590. How ever I have yet
Hi there,
This has happened to my friends too, and I have been unable to fix them.
Now, however, it has happened to me, so I'm wondering if anyone can help.:
No matter what I do, the "show hidden files and folders" is turned off when
I click on ok. Is there a third party adware/etc doing this? I
Hi all. I want to record my voice for librivox and the like. I would like to
hear if anyone has any recommendations for a good mic that will not pick up
background noise and that will also have a frequency response to make an
audio book sound nice and warm, not too basy, but not tinny either. It

Use the Microsoft document Scanning application that comes with the MS
Office suite. One of the options that will be provided in this application
is a check box to indicate that the document that you are scanning is double
sided. The application will prompt you to scan the reverse pages and then
Hello all,
Sometimes when calling someone I get the message "user not online", and of
course it's understandable. But what's the message "user not found"? How can
this message appear if I find the user using the search for skype users option?
Thank you all in advance, and best regards!

my trouble I bout a vista compatible scanner that has the auto sheet feeder but
it is only scanning one side of the document at a time. Since I am scanning

If you install a third-party version of IE 6, it will not affect IE 7, since
it is being installed as a stand-alone application that bypasses the normal
MS installation wizard.

Hello Gerald;
well, all the information you gave regarding the IE7/IE6 sounds very much
common sense, especially those who are using a earlier version of jaws.
so, when you install third-party copy of IE, what actually happens to IE7?
are they both useable or, does the IE7, lose its functiona
The reason you cannot uninstall IE 7 is that there is no earlier version of
IE installed on your computer to revert to. Obviously, a Vista machine
would not be equipped with IE 6. However, many people who received new
computers for Christmas want to retain the ability to use IE with JAWS 7.1
hello;
it was my understanding, if one is using vista, with IE7, going back to IE6
wouldn't work. I could be wrong about this.
in vista,/control panel,/program features, there's no IE uninstall ability.
