I think he needs to authorize Windows 7, not JAWS. It allows you to
use it for 30 days before being required to authorize. It would
probably ask again if you reboot. Otherwise, I would hit Windows +
Pause (normally the far right key in the Function key row) and Tabsee if
there is anything

1 windows for the start menu
2 up arrow to all programs and right arrow as it is a sub menu
3 now go to accessories closed and right arrow
4 now go to system tools
closed and right arrow and down to disk defrag and enterGood luck
I would always go to the start menu, type the word disk, and down arrow till
you hear disk defray. Hit enter on it. Tab till you hear the list of disks
available to defray, arrow to the one you want and click the defragment disk
button.

I had a similar issue on one of my Win7 machines, and after exhausting my
resources,
I ended up recovering the machine.
Everything is working fine now, service pack 1 even slid in with no
complaints.

weeks, I now plugged it in to my laptop and now it shows up lol I'm afraid
to unplug it because what if its one of those just got lucky things?

I was able to add a tone to indicate a capital letter with the REal
Speak voices. It was as Don said in Settings Sound Schemes I had to press edit
then go to the Mis tab. I did not see a option for it to say Cap only to add a
tone . This is very helpful

Don gave me the tip I needed to find the authorization for Windows 7. I never
heard before of pressing windows key with Pause. Well it worked and I now know
where to go and when I have a bit of help or feel brave I'll try to get that
