Hi all; I just bought a wireless router. In fact, the sale seemed so good I bought two. One for home and one for work. I have never used a router before and would like information on connecting it. At home, I only have one PC but I am planning on obtaining a second one in the near future. I

The 1st configuration of which u should be aware is security. By default, most wireless routers are configured as 'open', which equates to free internet for all. It's a security hole bigger than the Grand Canyon, needs to be closed. If your devices support it, wp2 is the preferred method. The

Hi, you actually need a wireless router. Don't know much about these, but that's what you need in order to connect your computers wirelessly. Access Points only provide reception to wherever they're installed up to a certain distance, probably 10 metres or so, similar to bluetooth technology.
