Yes Dale,
The sink empties into the laundry room floor drain.
And, yes, the plumber put the snake through the laundry room fllor drain!
And, we've tried what you suggested, letting a little water run from the taps
in the sink, since it drains into the floor drain, and it just sits there and

That will work. But I believe I would put a anti siphon connection on the

Hi Claudia,
You said that you were emptying out the contents of the bucket into the
basin or sink.
Is that basin or sink close enough that you can run the hose directly into
it, and if it is, is it large enough to hold the water that will be
generated by a large load?
If it isn't large enough

Hi Again,
Here is another question
The washing machine while standing idle isn't using electricity unless it is
keeping a clock alive. Same with a dryer. Your kitchen range will use some
power for the timer or if you have a light on. Many fridges have an internal

Yes Dale,
It is washer water. Yesterday, we tried to wash, and all the water came up, so
we were mopping it up, ringing the mop out with a mop bucket and emptying the

Of course, that water that had already been mopped up off the fl

What type of hot water system is it, we need more information before we can

Is it tankless storage or instantaneous

It might mean that the foundations have collapsed the drainage pipe.
