or, stop being a nudist and get some clothes.
Clothing detergent powder comes in big plastic containers with a lid, that
fits rather tightly.
I don't use the stuff often, (whew!) but you could use it to store your
ice melt.
Okay, now don't anyone get upset. Thanks

a task light is that oval half shielded bulb that you can hang anywhere? I
got one on a weather proof cord.
but I think the light isn't weatherproof as it hangs bulb up. Thus rain
might get in and short the socket. But, they didn't say the light was
weather proof, just the cord.

i couldn't find either the temp that the stuff works as a lowest point; or

Actually David might have forgotten some adjectives, the least of which is
"clumby" and a verb like "prance"
when referencing those who traverse our property.
I tell folks now, hold onto the fence. It's along 30 feet of walkway and
can do more than look pretty.

I had a big bucket of that stuff harden once. It had also started to work
on the metal bucket. So the moment I poured hot water into it; (to losen
it and help me with the mountain of ice I had to face) the bottom
literally dropped out. So we threw ice melt shush up the path and it
turned out ok
I made the slides a little long, wedged them into the slots then just
eye-balled and drilled and countersunk a hole through the base and into the
slides and screwed short screws through the top side of the base and into
the slides. No guess work at all.
I don't much like using glue that way but
I was just talking to a friend who was a woodworker. He told me about a
technique that he uses for making quick jigs. His runners are at least 1/8"
narrower and a little thinner than 3/8". He puts something in the track to
hold the runner proud of the table surface and pieces of folded paper in
Grizzly has some of that stuff, too.

Several places sell them. One of the places I use a lot is Peachtree.
Their web site is ptreeusa.com
Sometimes you can find things on Amazon that are less than what they sell
their own things for. Here is what Amazon said about the Peachtree miter
bar.
Works with standard 3/4 x 3/8 miter gau

Hello All:
I'm new to the list. And, have been reading the mail in the background for a
few weeks. I am a avid sailer and wood worker. I am
totally blind as well.
As far as the table saw runners go, I would highly recommend the steal runners
from www.woodpeck.com. The have almost no slop in
Hi,
I get mine from Lee Valley. Don't know if you would pay duty but the dollar
is now in your favour. The site will give prices in U.S. dollars. You can
buy aluminum 'T' track that size or some sort of high density Poly. Both
come in 24, 36 and 48 inch lengths. I just used a couple of 6 inch l
A long time ago Dale mentioned that you could purchase some man made runners
for table saw jigs. I think they were 3 or 4 foot long and 3/4x3/8". Dale or
anyone do you know what they are called and where I can locate them. The
boys at both Lowes and Home Depot acted like I was smoking something
I would also be interested if the plumbing or heat pipes to that
new addition are insulated. often the farthestheat vent fro the
furnace is much colder as the heat or fan first comes on, if that
piping/ plumbing is in a cold air space. Lee

Lenny:
We have a cat, so we have to buy cat litter. The litter we buy comes in a
large square plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. This is what I use
to store ice melt, and it works very well, even though I rarely use the
stuff. So, get a cat.

Hello All,
Our utility company came, during the early part of the week, and they set
our furnace to run more efficiently, so the whole unit is turning off again,
as it should.
However, here is my questions. Our bedroom is an edition that was built
onto the house, and it is a pretty large room.
