Hi All
Well the guttering and down pipes have now all been replaced.
It took two contractors half a day to complete this job, and clean up and
remove all old guttering.
I was surprised that they only used extension ladders and had not special
lifting platform or anything like that.
One guy was
It's so nice when somebody else does it and cleans up after themselves.

Hey Ray,
do you really mean this guy cut all the guttering and stuff with just a plain
old hand held hacksaw?
Wow, to me that either means he's cheap or he really has the experience to
be able to do it perfect the first time.
And from what you say, it's the latter possibility. He knows he can do
Luckilly I don't have to fix this:
About 20 years ago my landlord had the roof of our duplex redone by a cousin
who wa supposed to be a contractor.
Turned out they installed the gutters wrong so all the water ran up under the
shingles. so they cut off the roof back to the
edge of the wall and
So, I ran out and purchased that Braille compass we were talking about
last week.
Well, I've already sent it back and gotten my refund. My tests showed
that it was just unreliable. Or at least, the settling time was extreme.
I laid it flat on a level table. Let it settle. Opened the cover

That's great, sounds like they did a fine job. Some times it nice too get
something done by pro's, that do this kind of thing every day. I have been in
the same boat, had a job done, was happy with it, and thought about just how
long it would have taken me too have done the same job. Some
Those cow magnets are a total rip-off. I could never pick up a cow with one,
heck, I couldn't even get it to stick to the cow!

It makes a lot of difference when you have sight and have been installing

We had our gutters replaced several years ago and the guys didn't clean up
after themselves. The gutter brackets were held on by giant nails. They
left several of them in the grass. Sue found all of them. I would sure
have hated to hit one of them with the lawn mower.

Hi Guys,
I am looking for an inexpensive digital voice recorder for a student.
It needs a speaker built in. Do you have any ideas for one? I ordered
the Muvo T100, but it does not have a speaker built in.
Thanks,
Keith
