Hi Lee
I have another job in mind but have to save up about 5,000 to do it.
When I get the nod from the wife I will let you know what I would like to
do.
Concreting the garage floor , doing most of the electrical wiring myself and
buying the roller door can get rid of large chucks of money very
Hi Dan
There are already too many experts there, and I see you have been on the
job also.
Well done and all the Best for the upcoming Birth.

Perhaps we used the wrong paint, but when we put watter in the vases
the paint started to flake. We also noticed that some of the ridges
didn't look too smooth. The bud vases we used were not completely
smooth and that may have been the problem. Yep, nothing sticks so

Aloha Lenny,
I think that your wife may very well be correct on this one. The
painting could be very time consuming and troublesome. What about
buying some color that is kind of neutral, beige or something, and
covering them with fabric. We did this exact thing for a wedding. The
fabric can be
When I lived in Albany New York my house was on a slab and the water meter was

Make sure the glass is really clean and paint it. Paint should stick. Let me
tell you if you get paint on a window it is a bear to remove.

For my daughter's upcoming wedding she is trying to find about 40 white bud
vases. Since she is having problems locating them, I suggested getting a
bunch from the dollar store and painting them.
Would this work? my wife does not think it is practical.

Depending on how much iron you have in your water, once a month flushing may
suffice. However if you are like me, a lot of times, I have better things
to do, than needless things. Here's what I did on my system. I installed
a pressure gauge on the larger line before the nipple that goes to th
That is what I wound up doing.

RJ, when you pour bleach down the well, doesn't that affect the taste

I'd like to make the recommendation that wpa2 be used since wep is not
as secure and in fact can slow a connection a bit. Just my experience
and most folks in the IT security business will recommend wpa2 as
well. Just my two cents worth.

I would suggest turning on wep or one of the other encrypted protocols. If you
don't, someone can easily snoop your trafic. This
will allow them to inpersonate one of your computers and get on your network
even if you have only a specific set of MAC addresses
allowed. WEP is not totally secure
Brice,
Yeah, it is possible. If you open your browser on your desktop and go to
192.168.1.1 you can log into your router. Then you can turn on the
wireless radio and set up some other things.
Make damn sure you change the password on the admin user. Also, change

At least for me, my water meter is in the basement and there is a shut-off
there, but then there is another shut-off between there and the main.
That is the one buried in the lawn.
I assume that in some warmer places the meters may be above ground level.
And in places that don't have basements,
tions. But, when It came to getting my laptop connected wireless,
I was unsuccessful. My wife can see, but I didn't ask her for help, because
she is totally clueless dealing with computers.
