Just another option would be to buy two two drawer file cabinets and a
blank slab door. Sizes do vary, but six foot eight inches will be the shortest

I purchased a desk and some matching book cases from Staples a few years
ago. Then purchased the matching credenza for Teresa. They were assemble
yourself but were pretty straight forward. I am pretty sure that Staples
had a plan to have the delivery guys assemble it for you for a price.

I desperately need a new desk; I bought a cheap one at one of the big-box
stores, when we first moved into the house about 7 years ago.
This one's about had it, so any recommendations on where to find a decent,
sturdy new one, would be appreciated.

I cannot think of the brand but I got this at walmart just before I
retired in 2000. I will say I got sighted help to put it together
