I get that error clicking the wsas app in the tomcat admin console which

I suspect a config problem since Carbon_Repository/logs is empty and logs
are being written to Carbon_Repository/repository/logs. That certainly
doesn't seem right.
Could someone please explain how to get past this problem? With WSAS nightly

Specifically, no one here has explained why "creating a Carbon app" is
anything but a distracting digression. The wsdl is already inside a
perfectly good eclipse project. What does creating a carbon app add other
than a distraction from the task at hand?

We're trying to switch from using Axis2 wsdl2java to ApacheCXF and having

First, should I continue to build Axis AAR files and load them via WSAS

Does this mean ANY WSAS webapp? In particular, does it mean its possible to
deploy any WSAS .AAR to plain Tomcat? This would make DOD very happy but
early attempts (not by me) failed, I think because of OSGI issues, i.e.
class loader conflicts.

See http://bradjcox.blogspot.com for a link to a paper that may be of
interest to XACML devotees.
The first part of the paper describes an XACML reference implementation. Our

If it makes you feel any better, Xue-Feng, I have similar background (

So, it seems the answer is Carbon Studio cannot be installed in the
eclipse you've been using. You must download a raw version, install
Carbon Studio in that, then reinstall all the other plugins that you
were using.

Is there a later version of WSAS Eclipse plugin than 3.0 and 3.1,
which are the only versions offered at http://tools.wso2.org/eclipse/.
Version 3.1 fails looking for WSAS3.2.1/conf which doesn't exist. I'm
installing on Eclipse IDE for SOA Developers, Version: Helios Service
Release 1 Build id: 20
All this is WSAS 3.0.1. Does the new version improve on any of this?

I've got a class loading problem I hope someone here can help with.

I'm chasing an AbstractMethodError (enclosed). I've gathered from a
