Today, I lead an SFO trip to Dryden Lake. We parked on the south end of the lake in the small parking lot. As we headed toward the lake, the night heron was on the east side of the walk just north of the pasture at the top of a smallish tree. It suprised all of us. We also heard a Roughed Grouse

Went to Montezuma Wetlands Complex today via the west side of Cayuga Lake. There were quite a few BUFFLEHEAD all the way up the lake visible from Rte. 89. Lower Lake Road continues to have decent numbers of Aythyla species but numbers seems to be down some from a couple weeks ago. Also I saw no C
