Do you mean css under callmanager or some restriction under unity? Is it
possible that firewall settings in my laptop are blocking incoming call? ..But
then how am i able to register to callmanager in first place!

Yes the CSS applied to the Unity ports in Call Manager. I am assuming you ip
blue can make and receive calls through call manager, if not work on that
first. But since you have a VPN connection to Proctorlabs your IP Blue will
work just like it was in the same building. The problem is probably

Thanks Ed and ccievoice1,
I will again try and use IP blue for recording the greeting, although I know
for sure that there are no CSS or even partition settings on the CallManager.
But at least, I know now that it should work. This will give me confidence so

Hi,
I was having PSTN issues yesterday during my proctor lab session. I could not
get any PSTN calls outbound to the test PSTN phone from either HQ or BR1 site.
This has worked in the past.
I had configured BR1 as an MGCP gateway so that I could debug this issue and
setup a route
I think you forgot to remove the 9 in front of the called number. The PSTN
Router ever expect the DNIS without the 9.

Depends on what is required in the Exam.
The faster way of sync the clock of the Unity is against the clock of the CCM
1) In the Unity edit (with notepad) a file with the only command net time

the one of your CCM)
Well, that is the source of the confusion, because if I configure the police as
set qos policer aggregate SIG rate 32 burst 8000 policed-dscp , then the
show qos policer runtime all shows the busts as 7936 Kb ( that means near 8
Megabits !)
Aggregate name Avg. rate (kbps)
Kindly noticed the kbits used by the BURST and Kbits you have mentioned.
They are different ...

Well, What I see in the link you sent me shows the following example:

For example, if you want to calculate the minimum burst value needed to sustain
a rate of 1 Mbps on an Ethernet network, the rate is defined as 1 Mbps and the
When you register CCM with a PUB and SUB to a gatekeeper what
determines who has the _1 and _2?
For example:
10.1.200.20 51156 10.1.200.20 49727 HQ-RTRVOIP-GW
H323-ID: HQ-RTR_1
Voice Capacity Max.= Avail.= Current.= 0
10.1.200.21 52828 10.1.200.21
Pub would be _1
Sub would be _2
