Hi All,
1. I have CUE installed on Branch 2. From the BR2 I am able to ping the service
engine ip address.
From the HQ I am unable to ping the IP of the service engine module.
Is this the way it works or have I made a mistake?
2. CATOS.
Presently the CAt6503 has ios installed on this. Can I
Hi,
right know i trying to get VPIM to work. But i canĀ“t figure out what i am doing
wrong. I have configured VPIM regarding the Proctor Guide, but VPIM wont work.
I try to send a messag from CUE to Unity, below you can see the CUE Debug:

Make sure you have a static route to the CUE service module.
IP route 142.107.66.2 255.255.255.255 service-module 0/1

You are correct Jacob. IT should be Service-Engine 0/1 not
Service-Module. Sorry for the typo!
Thanks Jacob..

Scott,
Are you sure the service-module is the destination interface for that
route? For some reason I thought had used Service-engine 0/0 in all of my

Suresh,
Check the routing table on HQ and you probably won't see the
Service-Module's IP address (1.1.1.32) in there.
Add this line to the Loopback interface and you should be good to go...
ip ospf network point-to-point
As a side note, when using CUE as the VM integration with the local
From what I Have been told it isn't possible, that's why IP Blue is the
preferred way to get this to work. I use the EZVPN approach to connect to
Proctorlabs and have about 2-3 PC's that I can remote desktop too and run IP
Communicator from them. Works like a champ.

The free version of IPBlue makes you re-login every 20 minutes and has a 2
minute call duration limit. That is far more than enough for a lab
environment. You should just be able to hit OK when the prompt comes up
and then change your settings to work with the lab you are working on.

Jeremy,
Check if your MC3810 requires no use-proxy FXSZONE default inbound-to
terminal under gatekeeper configuration.
It worked for me with a ATA (h323) for calls *from* CallManager.

Nevermind Monday detail. I wasn't sending my SIP dial-peer to the right IP
address.

CMGKCME Phone then to CUE on no answer. Call just drops when trying to
goto CUe. I know CUE supports G711 only, so I have a transcoder on the CME
router and shows registered show sdspfarm units.
Any reason on CUE that would happen from the following version:
