Hello.
need advice please how to speed up the switchback of sip phones from srst
(on h.323) gtw back to UCM? It doesn't seem that altering the DP level
setting of monitor connection helps with SIP phones. I tried with 10sec

I have bought many items on eBay for my CCIE lab. I have not had a
single issue with any of the items purchased. I would just recommend
buying from users with good ratings and lots of them. Specifically
those that have sold lots of Cisco/network equipment in the past.
Hi everyone,
I'm trying prepend a '+' at the beginning of the calling number for incoming
calls to CME.
The translation is working correctly to an extent. At some point the '+'
gets stripped before going to the phone.
Here is the translation-rule:
voice translation-rule 8
rule 1
CME 7.0 won't display '+' sign at the top with incoming calling number.
If you have properly applied translation rules then you will see '+' at
the bottom of the phone screen.

I am trying to setup a remote gatekeeper on my PSTN Router and cannot get the
Remote and Local gatekeeper to talk.
Does anybody have a sample config for the PSTN Gatekeeper?

Edwin what does your debug gatekeeper main 10 show?
Do you have IP connectivity between them?
This should not be this hard as LRQ routing decision when configured
correctly works in the very early stages of the ARQ flow chart SRND page

I figured out the problem.
And as usual, I'm the architect of my own demise :)
I had redundant tftp-server statements for the term62.default.loads file.

One for SCCP and one for SIP.

Sorry for all the same topic. I have successfully got my 2 gatekeepers talking
and calls back and fourth. But now I can't get calls to pass through the IPIPGW
it sends the calls directly to the Remote Gatekeeper. To identify calls
destined for the IPIPGW I have been using 3#.

Sorry for an offtopic post but I purchase a bundle of IPX PL voice rack
rentals but ended up building my home voice lab so these are up for grabs.
You can unicast me for details.
