I stand corrected, I had uploaded the license file.
I was at the point right after the initial setup completes and prompts
you to close your browser.
At that point, it presented the jtapi error.
I got it working though.

Try to use error disable feature. I am not sure if it has a condition to match

I will try to lab it to night and will let u know.

It's a fresh install with no integration.
When I log in, it says the JTAPI is out of sync.
I've fixed the JTAPI problem related to moving C:\windows\java files to

Yes it does. Both CALLING and CALLED funtion the same way.
Think of a call.. Phone 5001 calls 9777.
RP -> 9.[2-9]XX with calling xform of ENM + called xform predot. CUCM
caches the changes ANI= +12027775001, DNIS = 777. The DNIS is then
updated on phone display and RL is selected.
*The calling party transformation patterns need to be matched on the
pre-RP/RL digits. *
**
*Does it goes for CALLED Party as well?*

So I am working on the new 5-lab pack from IPX, in lab 4 step 1.2 you are
asked to cause a port on the 3750 to go into error disable status if a non
cisco phone is connected. Unfortunately the DSG is not available yet for
this lab. Here is what I have thought but the problem with this solution is

Hey Chris,
Great catch.
You were spot on with your advice.
Thanks for correcting my thinking.
I guess it doesn't make sense as I think about it now, but I thought by the
time the gateway got the call had "left" CUCM and any reference to external
# mask, etc. wouldn't be relevant.
So I was trying
Thanks Chris,
I'll look into that now.
So , with this in mind, should I be able to "check" the use external # mask
within the calling party transformation and then apply a "XX" mask?
or do I have to match against the 4 digit DN and then prefix the DN in the
mask?

What pattern do you have setup for Calling Party Transformations? You
mention you are seeing + Globalized numbers in your isdn q931 debug, this
leads me to believe you have a RP/RL with External Number Mask applied. My
guess is you are trying to match on the Globalized Calling numbers in your

Hello,
I have a problem with UCCX Locations.
I have defined two CUCM locations - HQ and BR1
Both Location are configured with 24kbps, so that only 1 G729 call will be
allowed between those locations.
BR IP Phones are assigned the BR1 Location, and HQ IP Phones along with

If you use multicast MOH don't worry about MOH location. Whatever
configured is ignored.
For other media resources , it may inherit from device pool location.

In practice, the PS-ALI database contains everything the PSAP needs (in
theory), hence no need for calling name to go with the call.
In the lab, do only what is asked, nothing more, nothing less. If there is
no explicit requirement to ensure calling party name is displayed, don't
worry about it.
Hello,
Unfortunately, I cannot get the idea of Location assignement for Media
resources like MTP, Conf_Bridge and etc.
I guess, that Ann, Conf_Bridge and MoH needs the locations, so that it can
be controlled, how many calls they can receive.
But why the MTP and Transcoders do not have a Location
Hello Ken,
I can only answer the last question. I am not familiar with PSAP. But I do

was placed to emergency services and they returned the call immed
Hello,
I have a question about the RSVP reservation, but for mixed codecs.
For instance, if i want to reserve 2 g729 and 1 G711 call using RSVP, I
have to made the following calculation:
(24 * 2) + 80 +16 = 144
I want to say that if we are using mixed codecs, we have to plus 16 only

Hello everyone.
As I know the Gatekeeper CAC does not care for the cRTP, and it only cares
for Payload Size (Sampling Size).
So for G729 calls, the GK will reserve 16 kbps, whether there is cRTP or
Not.
But if the Sampling size is changed for instance to 30ms, then the GK will
reserve 15.9 kbps
I agree with you .. Better to put it in the exam even if no difference.
Let's make it the ideal way.

You are right . I just checked my notes and found this ..
It's important to note that max-reserved-bandwidth command won't function in

But still if you keep max-reserve to 75%, under your classes you can't

I am not saying its wrong :) its correct ...
But my point is that this is because of switch trust/untrust concept. Now you
can call it as you want (e.g. Policy map reset dscp to 0)
But if u try to enable trust on policy as well as applying the command set dscp
to 0, u will find that trust take

You can refer to QoS admin guide for 3750 or 3560 where it is said that by
default each class-map in policy map has "set dscp 0" command. (I do not
remember the page exactly, but it's there.

Well, I do not have any docs about the cRTP and RSVP.
I have just heard from ADV Tech Class Videos that RSVP takes cRTP as well.
But I agree with Mohammed that RSVP cares for payload only.

Yes, I have tested it on T - 12.4(22)T version.
I have made the following tests:
When configuring the CBWFQ Classes, the sum of bandwidth percent commands
must not exceed 75%. But on my IOS version I could get it to 99% (1% is
reserved for class default), so the document is true for my IOS.
