I am having trouble piping from mkisofs to cdrecord-ProDVD
I can write an iso with mkisofs, then use cdrecord-ProDVD without
problems.
Inside a script, I have the following:
mkisofs -J -r -T "$@" | burndvd fs=16m -v speed=2 dev=0,0,0 -
burndvd is another wrapper script with the following:
CD
Is there any graphical frontend for cdrecord? I mean apart from xcdroast
or gcdmaster. Just something like Nero for linux because I want to turn
on my PC only on Linux xD
Which one(s) do you like/use and why?
I know at SourceForge.Net there are a lot of projects, but they're still
in alpha versio
Hi all,
Anyone knows any program to make backups on CD?
I tried 'scdbackup' but I find it too difficult to use it. What I want is
a program that calculates de number of CD's that it needs to burn the whole
backup and burn it. If it has a graphical frontend, better.
Thanks in advance,
m4c

Is there support in cdrecord/cdrdao for this DVD writer?
I get the following error when running a test with cdrecord:
cuatro:/home/backup> sudo cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 -dummy -speed=2 fs=8m -data prueba4.raw
