This nearly happened to me when I tried installing CFSTudio 5 upgrade.
During the install it asked me for my CF4.5 Studio serial number.
I drew a complete blank as to where the heck that CD case would have
been! :)
Luckily..I eventually found it. There really needs to be a better way to

isn't it displayed in the CF Administrator?
I can't remember it's been so long since I used 4.5 ... but I know in
CF5 and the current version, it is displayed in the version info page.

I don't think that was the MX700 they were talking about. The MX700 is a
