I made a Family Tree program in CF. It was really only for my own family tree, and so some of the features are pretty archaic, but it works. It even displays the tree in nice HTML pages and you can navigate the tree up and down. You can also zoom in/out to see multiple levels of generations.

make working inside the case, cleaning, upgrades, etc all much much easier.

2.5" IDE or SCSI. We've got one Maxtor enclosure which is currently on

My 14yo "fooled around with it" and the drive is now working in the newer computer. He can't however tell me specifically what he did. I do remember being woken up for a discussion of jumpers and controllers; I remember telling him that yeah, it could go on the same ribbon as the CD-ROM... hmm. Ha
