I just volunteered to help out as a part time moderator myself. When I
joined our group, there were about 800 members. A local channel here
did a news story on FC, and along with the national attention it's
getting, we've grown to 2200 members (!).
Funny, it seems better when there were less
W00t! Way to go!
So - since I joined our local county group - I was ask to help moderate
for a while - and now I've been promoted to owner! W00t!
We've got around 650 members too. Freecycle is awesome!
No more feeling guilty about throwing things out too... When I cleaned
recently I got rid of a
Sweet, just picked me up a snowblower! No more backbreaking shoveling
this winter.
