You guys have had much better luck with System Restore than I have. Of course, when I've used it it hasn't been pre-meditated (like the driver example), it was "oops, my god, how can I fix /this/?!?!"... It has worked a few time, I won't knock that, but, man, my system never felt the same after.

That is a pretty good rundown. The Restore Points have helped me when third party software screws things up. It isn't like Disk space is an issue anymore so if it take another 20meg to keep a couple older versions of the driver so I can go back when the new one sucks, that doesn't bother me a bit.

Spent the weekend at the farm, took the dog with me. For whatever reason, the tick stuff I put on her the day before we went down there seemed to have ZERO affect. As a result, I've been picking ticks off my dog for 2 days noweasily over a 100. She's had ticks before and had no negative affects
