What makes you think any country would let them form a new
government in Saudi Arabia?
They're not looking for permission. They're planning the same thing

And what did we do in Afghanistan? Do you think the
Taliban could reform in Afghanistan? No. How about
Saudi Arabia? I doubt it.

Hi Sam,
I think we've established that it's a complicated issue.
I think where we differ is that you feel the US military actions have
been successful at stopping terrorism. My point would be that it
cannot be stopped as long as we have something someone else wants and
they're will to use lethal
I thought you said they wanted to take over the Saudi
Arabian government and once there is a country to
attack the world will join together as in Afghanistan.
If they remain in hiding and rely on terrorism, and I
believe that to be the case, then it will drag on and
we have something to agree on.
The US has maintained a military presence in the Middle East for 40
years primarily to guarantee a stable oil supply. The doesn't mean to
take the oil - just to make sure it's flowing and available for
purchase; markets hate uncertainty.
Consider what happened in the first 2 weeks of August 2004:
Aren't you supposed to post your sources for these things when you copy

Because Mr. Bin Laden wants something we have - Saudi Arabia. Being a
Muslim, Mr. Bin Laden would like a new government in the country that
contains the 2 most holy cities in Islam, Mecca and Medina.
I disagree. Bin Laden wants an Islamic empire stretching from Spain to Pakistan and down to
the way I understand it.

Multiple, non-related news sources compiled together with other information.
I KNOW that just about every news agency has their own biases and agendas.
They also feed off of each others news
I think bin Laden is offended by Saudi ties to the US, which he sees
as morally corrupt.
Of course the Saudis are interested in internal stabilty, as are most
regimes. They do face an internal challenge from the Muslim version of
the religious right.
Absolutely, every government wants internal
agreed.
I'd deplore either of those eventualities but if enacted by an elected
government... I mean, you either believe in the system or you don't.

Should he have footnoted?
Hi Dana,
It would be impossible for me to footnote since I didn't include
anybody's content.I originally wrote them just to organize my own
thoughts on things, and I wrote 2: one on fiscal policy (America the
Bankrupt) and the second on foreign policy (Iraq: the real
