Leafs were getting crushed by the Flyers last night and fans got
frustrated that they continue to lose so horridly. Instead of booing
the team this time, they came up with what I think is a more fun
solution...chanting in favor of the upcoming baseball season.
The Leafs have been miserable for years. But to cheer for the Blue
Jays, that is desperation.
Amazing what a change in venue and supportive fan base does. The
Winnipeg Jets, formerly the Atlanta Thrashers (should have been
thrashed) may get into the playoffs.

far more entertaining than that. My brother-in-law is a Leafs fan and
one of my annual pleasures is watching him agonize as they start out
well, then start to fade, rally a bit and be in playoff position and
then, just barely,
I grew up in the city. Its a religion. When the original Jets moved
away the city went into mourning.

I went to a few games in Atlanta, they were fun.
when we first moved to Paris from Ottawa the Canadiens were on a winning
