I can't stand WMP. I find it clunky, cumbersome, overloaded, with too many basic things loaded into hidden menus. Typical MS. Plus, using it as your media player means that if you're jamming to music and somebody sends you a link to a funny video or something, your music cuts out and unless

Plus, using it as your media player means that if you're jamming to music and somebody sends you a link to a funny video or something, your music cuts out and unless you're really dillegent with playlists (something WMP makes much harder than iTunes) then you have to dig through all the menus

In both you can set the default encoding to mp3. And you can turn off the feature to auto organize files. It's turned off now in iTunes btw, they learned their lesson after a hojillian irate users crapped down Apple's throat on that one. So basically, as long as you stick to mp3 files you can use

iTunes works great for adding/updating song information. I have not yet seen where it tags anything in the file that should not be there. M!ke -Original Message- From: Phill B [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 30, 2005 12:29 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Media player
