I think I recall reading an article about a passenger landing a
passenger jet in one of my aviation magazines, but don't quote me on
that. It's certainly not as common as in the movies. Even with my basic

Later Star Trek series and movies also finally used more then 2 dimensions of
space other then going up and down
I still the Khan had the best space battle ever.
