I think we also have to separate types of criminals. Those that choose a life
of crime, because they can get some return that they believe they can not get
otherwise, maybe detoured by severe punishment. But I'm not sure how much
horrific crime is perpetrated by these types of professional cri

I have to disagree, in other countries where they do publicly execute
people for use as an example, the crime rate is lower than here. I'm
not saying we adapt public executions but sometimes setting examples
does help.
