I've heard bad mojo about the Storm, and I'm not a Blackberry fan in
general. My wife's Blackberry (World Edition) has terrible call quality.
I have an unlocked GSM phone for travelling. Verizon doesn't use GSM in the
U.S., so it isn't even technically possible to use an iPhone or Nokia N97 on
the
Also, why bother with providers? Just get an Unlocked version of the phone?
Costs more..but you can use it with any provider you want.
Everything except the iPhone apparently comes with an Unlocked version
that you can buy online.

I haven't had any issues yet with At&t and my iPhone. Now next month
may be a different story with my 10 + minutes of ca
I lust for an iPhone, but I refuse to buy one because AT&T/Cingular is
the suckiest company on the planet. They hounded my poor father for
months for a huge bill he did not owe. I had to bring in the
Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau
to get them to leave him alone
it was the same here too, but i gotta say, since the network
is digital and you are either ON or OFF, not like analog where its
sometimes on/sometimes off... digital is great in that sense, you only
really need 1 bar to be connected, where analog requires higher connectivity.

Better than
(sorta OT... )
I had Verizon in AZ and FL. When we moved to CA (southern Cali...
Redlands), we switched over to AT&T because they had less expensive plans.
Second biggest mobile-phone related mistake I've ever made. In my
experience, the quality of the Verizon coverage is just insanely better th
AT & T coverage is mediocre in San Diego. Verizon is the only real game in
town here.

I ditched my 6700 and got a Dare and I love it.
I just didn't need all of the MS phone BS anymore and the Dare is nice
and small but does everything I want.
Great little phone. I thought I'd hate the media capabilities, but I
it all of the time. Wit
I've had no issues with my Treo 750
I have been thinking about a BB, but am pretty happy with the Treo. I
figure if I get another year out of it, then I will be phone shopping.

Don't get the Blackberry Pearl. My old TREO broke and I was forced to get
a new phone before the Curve came out last summer. My friend got the
touch screen one (not the Storm) and he said it was the best phone he had.
He was also a TREO user.
