You're not the only one. I've had the same problem trying to get a blog
going.

That's cool. It is something I've pondered, though wouldn't use
myself. But I've done a lot of VoiceXML work and it isn't that
difficult once you get past the opening hurdles. I've used Voxeo

speaking of blogs...I chanced up Posterous.com today. Excellent site. Post
blog entries via email...photos, movies..whatever. My blogging had slowed
down to a snails pace. I'd had some screenshots for an Ubuntu PV install on

Love, love Ben. and Sean too. Learn a bunch from both of them.
I'll have my blog up soon, but it will be focused more on media
integration/film and video tools than specific to
programming..although there will some of that as well. Music/digital
editing/programming all combined.

+1 for BenN!
He actually journals. "Here's the crap I did today." with the good,
the bad and the ugly. Plus other good stuff.
And if I ever meet him in real life, I'm going to arm wrestle him. ;-)

Definitely. I have just have a difficult time making myself write that
way as that isn't how I natively think. His blog is a great resource
though and I love the way he puts it out there. A real inspiration.

I find the format Ben Nadel uses to be most helpful as I often don't
have time to read lengthy articles. Little bits of wisdom, with code
to show how it works.

The biggest problem I have with the blog format is that I tend to
write full fledged articles, not short, concise bits and that takes
too long, so I don't do it often, which makes me feel bad about my
blog, which makes me drop my blog. Or at least that was the case the
first two times I tried it.
This would be a "very good thing".

Well, it's not *that* odd. Three *is* the magic number. ;)

and beyond.

I hope it is...My last employer had to end my contract early due to budget
issues near the end of may and I am still looking. Unfortunately, that was
a 1099 position, so no unemployment. If something doesn't show up fast, my
family and I will be homeless.
I am really fed up with this contract c
