I think kwang is overlooking the wired = cool factor but I can see
plenty of kids pressuring their parents to buy the Phantoms. They manage to
pressure them into getting cell phones on huge numbers...

Why don't you just say that you won't
Well Phil, I think Kwang does have a good point about broadband not being
universal. And i think you have a good point about that not meaning that the
Phantom model won't be adopted widely. Perhaps this whole argument just
highlights the gap between the haves and the have-nots?

Ok, then, if the Xbox is popular, I suppose that the PS2 is super hyper

Well, you said it wasn't popular
By that statement (and I've used this before)
Ford outsells Dodge
Therefore Dodge isn't popular, right?
That's your argument!

ksuh,
Everything will become obsolete in time, the Xbox was obsolete the day it
hit the shelves.
The graphics card in that is only a GForce 3, compared to the graphics cards
that are in the PC's. Yet it is still bringing in the developers to develop
for.
Consoles have a life span of around

I've left both of your quotes there - your sweeping statements are the
ones which blow holes in your statements!

Really? Even the $400 ones which are being pushed now with a built-in
graphics card and small foot-print that can't have a replacement
graphics card or motherboard?
How about making a SWEEPING statement
