Have to admit, I had no intention of going to see Speed Racer. The previews
just didn't do anything for me, and I was never a real "Speed Racer" cartoon
fan either.
I'm *FAR* more interested in Prince Caspian and the new Indiana Jones movie.

just took my daughter to see it. it is somewhat faithful to the original,
from what i remember, but i never saw the 2002 series, so i can't compare.
several plot elements were different than the original, so maybe it is
closer to the 2002 version, i don't know. the kids all really liked it.

that cartoon always scared the crap out of me on acid.
always thought it was a little demonic..
who knows.
