I agree! Nobody held her at gunpoint and made her get behind the wheel of a
car. She was lucky enough not to kill someone, lucky enough to get probation,
lucky enough to get a second chance after she allowed herself to be filmed
violation the terms of her probation. It's reality time. Seriously.

The punishment definitely fits the crime. Jailtime is standard for
anyone who commits those crimes and subsequently refuses to obey the
court's orders. Part of the whole reason she's in jail is that when
trusted to obey the court's orders she blatantly disobeyed them. Why
should the judge think
.
The media coverage of this is strictly based on her willingness to be in
the spotlight and so stupid to get in the papers and on TV

Paris being in a jail does no one any good.
It's simply because society is sadistic and malicious that she's being
forced to go into a jail.
House arrest for a longer period would have been just fine for the
level of crime she committed.

That's pretty much what I think. I really hated that she got out. This
afternoon I felt a little sorry for her. Not enough to say let her go though. I
have no sympathy for drunk drivers. None. A drunk driver that does not show
respect and remorse for what they had done -- ugh.
Bottom line, her

. I guess in "their" world,
normal people like us still get paid when sitting in jail. Maybe they need a
serious reality check.
