Well, tell her to properly attribute all of the stuff on her website and
hopefully the stalking will stop.

Exactly.
And when it is all said and done, you find the harasser or stalker and
visit their house with a Louisville Slugger. Make sure you use at least a
36 ounce bat. ;-)

If the person is sending inappropriate emails those should be sent to the
ISP. If someone is just in love with your friend and they want them to
go away she has no recourse except to set a rule to delete the message
Wow, this is good stuff... I know who I'm calling if I ever need to toy with someone!

Do not ever, ever, ever correspond with a stalker.
And contact your local police. Go in and talk to them. They may not be able to do
anything (due to ineffective laws in most states), but
The other option, besides reporting this person and hoping someone else
takes action, it to engage in some social engineering. The goal is to make
the victim seem as undesireable as possible.
1) Send the stalker a picture of an extremely obese person as if it were
your own. (Go to alt.binaries.pi

If it's a yahoo name then you can report them to yahoo... Who will then
close their accounts etc...

Yahoo Abuse Team should be able to track that but to be honest, I've not
seen them really do anything to stop anyone. Just look at all the spam that
comes from them.
Check out http://cyberangels.com/ . This is an organization that works quite
well to stop cyber stalking.
