Asim, do you need to rent a moving truck? I rented a Penske truck to move from
DC to San Diego. It is worth calling around to a few different companies and
ask for a rate. I think what happens is that if they have a lot of extra trucks

I am relocating from Toronto to DC. I was wondering that what is the
cheapest place to rent the vehicle.
Thats not a heavy stuff but still so much luggage.

This is one of those situations where I never know what to say. I guess
that's my geek socializations (or lack thereof) showing.
I'm glad you can look on the bright side, and I hope you get satellite

I didn't really disappear. I simply time-traveled to the wilds of
rural Georgia to care for my dad. My step-mother, the queen of
cliches, decided to run off with dad's best friend.
As you may remember, Dad, who is 78, recently had major heart surgery,
so he needs someone with him at all times.
that one is true, but I still love it.

This is true. Although generally the concern is relocation costs. It is
sometimes possible to talk to these emploers if you are willing to assure
them that you would pay your own relocation costs (which are tax-deductible
btw).

There are many of the real estate sites that have relocation calculators, and
checklists to follow when contemplating a move. The use of their cost of living
