Welp, we haven't tested 1.5 with 1.6 but we know 1.4 interferes with 1.5 somehow. And it isn't that big a hassle, except finding Add & Remove Programs in Vista... on Windows XP we can get even total newbies through the process in five minutes or so...and we hope this will go away when we do hot

Dana, Can't you simply install the Java 1.5 runtimes in parallel with version 6 and either set the particular application that is having problems to default to that *OR* set the system environment vars so the 1.5 runtime is the default rather than going to all the hassle of removing 6? Paul ~~
