I've got problem with the IsNumeric function in
ColdFusion.
I've got a page set up with a form on it. On the page
this form calls I am doing validation to make sure the
entered value is numeric by using the IsNumeric
function - IsNumeric(form.variable)
If I pass in a value like 74d6, it passes

the next variable.
Might be able to use the IN clause as well instead of

Have you tried doing a reindex of the entire database?
DBCC REINDEX I think. I realize this takes quite a
while, but we do this periodically to keep things
straightened up.
What we've seen in the past when dealing with SQL
Server is the stored procs are using the correct
indexes on the develomen

I set up two tables. #tmp_cat contains a cat_number
and category description. #tmp_question contains a
cat_number and the question. cat_number is the
relationship between the two.
The thing that helps is the TOP command in SQL. It
returns the TOP N rows back.

We have been sending e-mail through ColdFusion for

After talking with the people in charge of the

with 'open relay' and this was shut off over the

Hello all. We've taken over some ColdFusion code that
was written by someone else. Some of the files open
just fine and we can change them and everything works
ok.
However...other files open ok, but they look like
