Actually, I believe the USER and GDI resources limitation is only on Win 9x
platforms. Windows NT and Win 2k of any flavor are not limited by this.
I received that error on many occasions while running win2k pro with nothing
but studio open. My reaction was 4.5.1 is still quite buggy...
sounds like the MX record for alakazam.com that was cached by HoF has not
met its TTL yet. Give it a few days.

If you are running Windows 2000 and somehow the MDAC got overwritten, this
may help:
sfc /scannow
Run that in a cmd window. It will start the windows file protection engine
and should restore any protected files that were overwritten.
