I'm sure several people will chime in, but I did the CFMX master class a
while back, and it was by far the best training experience I've ever had.
It was incredibly intense, very well laid-out, and covered more in 5 days
than I thought a class possibly could.
By the end, I think we were all brain-
I'm running MX on 2k Server / IIS 5, and just moved my dev server from
updater 1 to updater 2. Now, when I attempt to use the tag "cfgridupdate,"
I get a 500 error from the server. Refreshing will sometimes (but not
always) cause the update to happen, but the 500 error happens first every
time.
Homesite+? It even comes with DWMX! Heh.

That's a whole different issue! We run a simple POP3 server here, and we
set up quasi-roaming profiles so that the post office file follows you
whichever machine you log in to. It's important to have your PST on a
network drive anyway, just for backup purposes. But that does start to get

Ok - just my two cents. If you've got email addresses from the ISP, you
don't need a server (like exchange), only the client. And if you have
outlook 2000, you're all set. The ISP would be the one to manage these
accounts if they're through them. Most ISPs have a cute web-interface for

I've been staying out of this thread, but this (paying ahead for support) is
an industry standard at this point in life. Microsoft does it, and even if
they were the only ones, it would be quite trend-setting, but they're not.

That seems somewhat strange, as the MSDE I'm running looks and functions the
same as SQL Server 7, except it "theoretically" is bandwidth/connection

I do have to honestly say that despite my worries going in, XP Pro has been
rock solid and better stability-wise than 2k for me. I tended to demo a lot
of software on my development system (install it and remove it), and XP
seems to "clean up" better. 2k always required a reinstall every X-month

That's the best article I've seen yet, but on their price compares, I still
can't come up with the numbers they're using for intel + linux. If you're
comparing X-serv to a more commercial product such as a sun server, I
believe that apple might stack up very nicely. And win2k is more expensive,

I'm having a problem, and I've looked through the archives and the
macromedia support forums, and I've seen mention of other people having this
same problem as early as CF5, but haven't seen a resolution on any of those

Apple may be getting more competitive, but I still think an Intel solution
can be deployed cheaper than an Apple solution. For Instance: A Mac server

SCSI for less in an Intel box. On top of the fact that who uses ATA I
Sorry, slow response here. Speaking as someone who has these cert's,

All fixed.
