We were getting the exact same errors on one of our windows staging servers.
Whenever debugging was turned on the server would log that error and
restart. When debugging was turned off the level of occurrences dropped but
would still appear on long running processes eg parsing 8mb xml files.

Anyone know how to upgrade the java under coldfusion? A blog post from another
thread (sarge's blog) says I need to install the SDK. Do I just install the
J2SE SDK and then cf will find it or do I need to do something special to cf?
This is a new windows server box and the latest version of cfm
Sounds more like a corrupt dll to me, but that's just a guess.

We, too, are experiencing this error. After many, many hours with paid

Can you successfully run CFMX/JRun from the command line as an application?

Dave,
Yes it is a very generic error indeed! I have both examined the logs, AND sent them to (paid) MM support. They were stumped. The logs say nothing. The only other symptom we notice is that we cannot start and stop the MM/JRUN windows services, instead we restart the server. I'd say this is

Sorry, I've never run into this error on any of my servers.

How about disabling the disk drive in the BIOS of the machine in question. I

I can't say for sure but, it looks like the RDS call does not time out. So,
