We have a client designing databases w/ Access 2000.
He cannot setup a datasource to the database, everytime
I try to verify the connection, it fails. What can I do to
correct this? Update drivers?

Can convert the access db to sql db and save the sql db locally that way
I then can make all the adjustments to the sql db locally rather than doing
them live and then once done I then use enterprise manager to transfer the
local sql db to the live sql server. By being able to make my adjustments

Im using access to store info on code snippets and I keep getting this same
error. The only way I have found to "fix" the problem is to re-build the
access table. I experience the following error when I try to update or
delete a record in the table (with CF OR editing the table directly in

What do you mean by "the SQL Server clone"? If you mean MSDE, you're
probably right that you can't run it and SQL Server 7 on the same box

I've successfully upsized an access 2000 db
to SQL Server 6.5 using SQL Server 7.0 import
export wizard, but when I output the data now
the integer fields are now of the format:
1.00
2.00
2,345.00
instead of:
1
2
2345
Any integer fields is like this now including index's
