I'd actually prefer GM NOT build another Chevelle. They continually
screw up and taint the names of the late great cars. Look at the new
Malibu, jeez what a POC. And a Camaro SS Z28 ? What idiot decided that
was good; undoubtably born well after the Z28 name meant something.

I THINK BRANDWOOD ON UNIVERSITY. THEY BUILD SAND RAILS OTHER OFF-ROAD
STUFF I'M PRETTY SURE THEY WERE CONSTRUCTING THEIR OWN WHEELS ONCE UPON A

I think someone might have been looking at
the new Pontiac GTO. It is going to be imported from the Holden plant in Australia. It has an LS1
under the hood, RWD, handles great and has 4 seats and 2 doors. And to
boot it doesnt look to bad!
Search on yahoo for it and you should find

Hello
I agree with you. But maybe... just maybe, since we have this wonderful
new technology to utilize our communications with, we can all send a message
to the car designers.

I agree with what you guys are saying but
it will never happen. The car manufacturers are tooled to build cars a certain
way going back to frames, etc just would be to costly. They also have to
meet all kinds of safety, crash emissions laws now. The new cars "fold on
impact" for a reason,

Unfortunately you're probably
right.
The politicians bleeding heart
liberals are constantly trying to take away our old cars, our guns our

A lot
of guys on the Impala SS list (94-96 list) hate dexcool. The impalas have

For a
long time everybody blamed it on Dexcool.

I am going to have to be more careful. That 12"
rearview mirror on my car causes a blind spot. Twice I have started to pull out
or go, only to find a car turning in front of me. That big mirror and the
mounting spot causes a blind spot. I think I will have to try the 11" mirror to
see if it
Yea, on my '69 I'm looking straight into it, I have to look under or over
it which is a problem. I'm going to look for a mirror that either
has a short mounting arm, or one that mounts to the windshield. I
need to get something smaller and higher mounted.
BTW: with a 4" cowl hood, this is a bit
Hiya list,
So I'm kind of a beginning hot rodder. That is to say, I just bought the
car I've always wanted - a 67 Malibu (okay, I would have liked to have an
SS, but don't tell her that. :o] ) but I don't know much about what I'm
doing yet. Too bad for me, because she's a little under the
Yeah, me too, that big mirror is a problem with the 3 1/2 cowl hood, there ain't much room to look under it, but i guess it has to work untill i can get it changed.

Your top mechanism is different,no motor ,no rams,no nylon lines, just big
springs added to help you manually pull the top up or down.A power top was
an option until 1970 and in 71 they finally made it a standard feature.

collector and in hot rod mag. it says this is what it might look like. they
are not bringing back the chevelle.

if i'm not mistaken here, but when the "real" chevelles were being produced, I thought it had to be a Chevelle before a Malibu, Malibu being the level of luxury above a 300 or 300 Deluxe series. So theoretically if this is how it was, doesn't that mean that the Chevelle is still in existence
