Just had to share with someone. I finally got my El Camino back on the road yesterday. I pulled a 350 out of my uncle's basement (in pieces) several months ago, and about $350-$400 later, I have running engine for my car! The last time I had both cars running (and my entire garage available!)

Kyle First..welcome to the list, many knowledgable folk here I have a 70 with a 454 that pushes out about 510 HP and have a 12 bolt under it and it handles it and then some. A 9" Ford would need to have all the brackets for a chevelle application welded on. There are companies such as Moser

I would say definitely keep the 12B. It is just about as strong as a Ford 9 and for street use you should have no major problems with it, now running bigger sized slicks at the track is another story Mikey
