If it is the same as the
small block, (which shouldnt be too different), You just have to drop
the starter, bolt it on, and put the starter back in. Not much harder than just
replacong the starter.

They don't have an
application to fit, but he did suggest I buy his catalog and package for $22 so
I can build my own headers. I may check into that, but I think I can get
away with just the catalog...

Tom just an FYI on the intake leak. That is an extremely common place
for leaks if you use the rubber front and rear gaskets. The remedy is
not to use them. Just place a bead of RTV along the front and rear and
bolt the intake down. This technique will also eliminate vacuum leaks
that I have seen
Hey All!
We just received notification that the following parts are now available...
64 Chevelle 2 door, Standard Rocker Panel Moldings
64 Chevelle 2 door, SS Rocker Panel Moldings
70-72 Chevelle, Rear Marker Lamp Bezels
67 Chevelle, Nova, Impala Window Cranks
64-67 Chevelle, Nova, 4-speed
Just want to add a little tid-bit to troopers info.. If you do use high Temp
RTV after you run a read on the front and rear eng block.. let it sit up(
cure) awhile b-4 you plop the intake on
Why,, because RTV floats and if it wet and runny and the intake compresses
it in a runny form , it will

Have
you re-torqued the manifold bolts? I did mine twice before they stopped
loosening up. It helped with the leak.

I installed the intake exactly as you described, ie, I didn't use rubber
gaskets in the front and rear of the manifold, just black high temp RTV per
the Edelbrock installation guide. I was also very careful not to adjust the
manifold after laying it down.
I'm going to try cleaning it up and
Tom apply the RTV while the motor is running. The vacuum will help pull it in
but not enough to go into the lifter valley. John, 67SS396

hmm
that's not too comforting since I have to pull the distributor to get to two of
the manifold bolts. I pulled the intake again today and cleaned it all up
and bought a new gasket set (boy was I nieve to think I could reuse the ones I

There
was a spot on the driver's side gasket that looked like coolant was possibly
leaking between the gasket, but like I said, I'm a rookieat

this :) I meant to get pictures of the gaskets to show you
